Biography of Marcos Romero
born august 1972 in sayago, montevideo in uruguay, marcos romero is a classically trained musician, composer, dj, and electronic music producer. he has been a dj since he was 13 years old. romero took part in the beginnings of the electronic music scene in south america. he was also a member of the legendary hip-hop bands critical zone and nostromo. he has produced under the aliases madcos, or madcos d psycho with many artists and bands, and has made music for short films. he arrived in the us in 2003, and started working on remixes for several artists. in 2004 he collaborated in the production of glass cuts, a philip glass remixed album. as if that's not enough to keep him busy, marcos is also a curator for the net label sursumcorda.

Comment: I think it's an excellent set full of alternations and unexpected turnings. An extraordinary set with interesting and even instrumental fade-ins. This set has his own style ! Several types of electronic music combined in one great performance that makes fun to listen to.
