Binary Dialect is the duo of Benjamin Bradburn(DoubleB) and Skwash. These guys sport two expansive record collections, on-point track selection bridging the gap between hip hop, house, reggae, dnb and overall funk with mixing skills that make jaws drop and booties shake.

Back in 2003 Benjamin and skwash were throwing the party Critical with the localwildlife.com crew. While both enjoy playing club based dance floor numbers, Critical wasn’t conducive to hip hop and reggae. Binary Dialect was born as a result. Shortly after BD started playing together they met up with Gaskins, Eclectic and Subklue at the advent of the Re:fill @ The Rivermill Map Company. Binary Dialect became a standard for Re:Fill parties and helped to make Re:Fill the longest, currently running, party in Blacksburg. Skwash came up with the concept for the extremely funky, extremely successful Fandango parties and with the assistance of Gaskins and Bradburn turned the idea of five DJs, five turntables, along with live instrumentation into a reality. BD can still be found every other week @ Re:Fill and every once in a blue moon throw a Critical party.
