MPIII.com features downloads of live sets and mix sets posted by our members. These live sets and mix sets are posted in appreciation for the artists that created them. You will find biographies, images and links for all the artists featured on the site. This helps in promoting the people that create the music which we love. Biography of ocp
'operador de cabine polivalente' (aka ocp) is the name of an ongoing sound project.
Translated, the expression means 'polyvalent cabin operator'. This is my tribute to the people we often forget and who make it all possible: the cameramen/women, the guys behind mixing desks, roadies, etc., just to name a few.
Tributes made, the purpose of this project is to develop uncommon sound textures/patterns/compositions taking different approaches, applying diverse techniques. The end results are then to be divulged to an audience, either live or through this webpage.
Since this is a work in progress with no limitations, you should expect experimental material instead of beautifully crafted pop stuff, and a random update procedure. His website is also meant to provide you with many assorted links related to sound and image manipulation.
