Biography of McQueen
Harder, faster, louder – not a bad motto to live by but quite a surprising attitude for someone who looks like the milky bar kid. With his angelic looks and choir-boy demeanour, you really wouldn't expect the full on assault of arse shaking breaks, pounding techno and rolling drum and bass that comes flying out of this boy's record box once a fortnight, but it's a unique combination that has found him rocking an ever increasing number of parties over the past four years.
Growing up on the dancefloors of the Que club and clubs such as Nu-Tonic in his hometown of Birmingham, McQueen found heroes in the form of DJs as diverse as Adam Freeland, Jeff Mills and DJ Hype. His Leeds DJing debut was at the first ever MostWanted warehouse party back in 1999, where his first encounter with partner in crime Kid Blue was a request to 'chill it out a bit'. A piece of advice he's ignored in fine style ever since.
