Biography of Butane
Andrew Rasse, a.k.a. Butane, has been putting on small, intimate events in St. Louis with hardly any budget. He and his Alphahouse crew brought names like Magda, Jay Haze, Someone Else and Bill Patrick to his city. Both Magda and Someone Else have been known to say that these Alphahouse parties are some of the best they have ever played in the states. These events are solely about the music. And not only is Andrew an amazing cook, but he's a fast learner. It was only last September 2004 when he began producing. His remarkable production of minimal techno immediately caught the attention of the Foundsound crew. It's only a matter of time before the Butane moniker is a household name within our tight-knit minimal techno community.
