Biography of Vectif Feat Ivan M And Mc Orson
DJ Vectif is one of the biggest talents on the Prague underground house club scene, currently favouring a distinctive deep/tech-tribal house sound. From his first stint behind the decks in 1998 he has slowly worked his way into the Czech DJ premier league. Vectif has already appeared numerous times at the Roxy, was resident for year 2000 for Prozak party at reknowned club Radost FX and has played all important clubs in Prague including Mecca. He has regular bookings at clubs throughout the Czech Republic and in the course of his Djing career has played alongside such respected names as Danny Rampling, Eddie Richards, Asad Rizvi, Phil Perry, Colin Dale, Nathan Coles, Nils Hess, Sander Kleinenberg, Corvin Dalek, Jay Chappel, Jaydee, Mijk van Dijk, Nicky Holloway, Marco Carola. Not content just with Djing, Vectif is also a very active promoter, recently having thrown large-scale dance events at venue K.C. Karlov in Benešov under the names: Plastic Dreams, Fabric vs. The End , Amazing party and Pepsi Sound System which were visited by sum of more than 10000 clubbers. On top of all this Vectif was able still to find time to present, together with Chris Sadler, the show Vinyl Vibrations on Radio Vox 95.3 FM every Friday evening from 6 ´till 8 p.m. with a repeat Sunday night from 9 ´till 11 which vas voted as one of the best radio shows in the Czech Republic by Czech leading dance magazine Tripmag in 2001. From the end of 2000 Vectif worked as co-presenter for Ultramix - a TV show about dance-music and club culture- which was broadcasted on Czech TV3.
Vectif played also all biggiest Czech open air festivals including Open Air Field 2001, Svojsice 2001, Hradhouse 2002, Open Air Field 2002 alongside on the main stage with The Chemical Brothers and Sasha as well as Cremfields together with Underworld and many others.
He has got regular residencies in neighbour Slovakia and Hungary where he has invited such guests like Eddie Richards, Asad Rizvi, Haris and Linus.
Since September 2001 he works as production manager at legendary Radost FX club in Prague and he is a resident DJ of the club.
The mix features a live trumpet player and a talented vocalist, adding their art to a pulsating, beautiful deep house set.
