Biography of Paul B

Pavel Burakov's (aka - Paul B) career takes start in early 1997. He's chosen dnb as one of his favorate genres. While working rapidly on his tracks, he had his skills improved rapidly. In 1999 Paul felt strong enough to create his first project together with 2 other influencial producers - The Sounds Of Infinity. The team has taken the minds of all the Russian DNB massive.

After a few releases and performances all over Rusia, Paul finds himself ready enough to take on the world scene and unites with Alex Sta. Summer 2001 - that's when Sta and Paul B made thier first track using thier full potential. Alex and Paul worked hard to create thier own sound with experiments. DJ Trace discovers thier talents and signs them to his label DSCI4. Pure breakthrough for the Russian scene.

Sta and Paul B finally have got the key to the world scene with these fabulous tracks : The Lick, Step 2 Zero, Gush, Secrets Inside and of course thier first vocal tune Come Closer. These tunes have been getting stacks of airplay, being cained by the likes of Grooverider, Bad Company, Kemal, SS, J Majik, Optical, Marky and many more all over the world thanks to Trace and DSCI4 records promotion.

A few months later Paul had discovered himself as a DJ and started to put his mixes online monthly for free play. He has since been collaberating with other producers such as Dissident and Subwave (of the DSCI4 and Technical Itch Recordings fame). Dissident and Paul's Technecium has been signed to Renegade Hardware thanks to it's futuristic mixture of pure techno and dnb. Paul B and Subwave's 'Something Sick' was THE major anthem at WMC 03 for the dnb DJ's. Theyve also release an exclusive remix of Tiesto's Flight 643 that was released on Human and featured on Dieselboy's Dungeonmaster's Guide mix CD.

He now runs a label called Step2Zero.
