Ian Cheshire aka Kube 72 began mixing in 1996. He was influenced by the big techno DJ's like Carl Cox, Jeff Mills and Derrick May.

Enjoying being behind the decks at parties and at home he developed his skills by running his own night called Freeze at Imperial Gardens, London. From that moment on he decided that he wanted to play more but not just in clubs but also at festivals.

He managed this when he played at the Lizard Festival in Goonhilly in 99 with artists like Green Velvet and Derrick Carter.
