Larry McCormick aka Exzakt is no doubt considered by many to be one of the top personalities in Electro music today as a producer, DJ, label owner, forum administrator, store owner, and spokesman. Larry was recognized as an important part of the growth of Electro being named in Urb Magazines Next 100.
In 2005 Larry moved to Frankfurt, Germany where he leaped into the european DJ circuit playing and being invited back to top notch clubs Fuse, The Loft, and Coppelia 101. He also joined Databooks - Datapunks booking and artist management' which is a very exclusive and small booking agency rostering the likes of Anthony Rother, Billy Nasty, Funk D Void, and Gregor Tresher. Larry has played many other cities such as Budapest, Zagreb, Tel Aviv, London, and Frankfurt just to name a few.
As a producer Larry has quite a discography in 5 short years of production releasing 3 full length albums and 21 twelve inch singles/E.P.s on top electro labels Datapunk, Satamile, Psi49net as well as his own Monotone U.S.A. imprint. Larry has also appeared on many compilations from Sony's 'This is not the 80's' to 'In Electro We Trust' which is a whos who of electro featuring exclusive tracks from The Hacker, Advent, Anthony Rother, Carl Finlow, Alexander Kowalski, and Johannes Heil.
With the growth of the electro movement Larry McCormick continues to work with some of the top personalities in the scene while creating his own identity as an artist and a label. Always looking to the future Larry will continue to help electro music gain the respect it deserves through his efforts on all fronts.
