ERTHER on the bottom of these pages.
ERTHER comes bubbling up like black blood through cracked mud..washing away
the dust of years from this place. ERTHER has been into music since 1977 and
making various forms of music since 1980..starting with a synthesizer and a
tape deck and listening to Kraftwerk, Gary Numan, John Foxx, early Ultravox
etc..Then moving onto guitar and a 4 track and started listening to Led Zeppelin,
Hendrix, Blue Oyster Cult, The Doors etc then found James Brown and Miles Davis..playing
everything from Blues, Jazz and Funk to DeathMetal (started a band with members
of Misery).
But the combination of the need to compromise artistic visions with bands and
finding revived interest in electronic music upon hearing Goldie's 'Inner
City Life' resulted in a major shift sideways to solo electronic endeavours.
ERTHER has recorded 2 CDs for the Perth band 'Silent Majority' and
a 6 Track EP for Local Brisbane band 'The Unnerved' @ ERTHER Studios
and is available for recording ($ negotiable).
ERTHER now produces breakbeat laden tracks for the dance floor and the mind
ceiling. ERTHER DJ's a wide variety of DrumnBass, Breaks and Downtempo Chill
to suit almost any Gig. ($ negotiable)

FUTURE: Forging new paths in beat laden subliminal light and darkness... and
bringing the best Breaks, DrumnBass and chilled breaks to the humans through
DJing and live work.

*Starting off with two of my all time favourites - Marcus Intalex & ST
Files showing they can make em tuff, deep n dark with the best of em with 'DreamWorld'
and Accidental Heroes (Sonic n Silver) with the scifi flavoured Blade Runner
sampling 'Forgotten Worlds', rolling into Usual Suspects deep n bruising
but groovy 'Bleach' which i set up some call and response with Total
Science's rugged funk of 'Zodiac' and then letting em shuffle with
Sub'erb n Kaos's quick lil steppa - 'Shapeshifter' and Surreal n Parameter
2's hard amen rocker, 'Drop'. - running time - 30 mins
