Biography of DJ 2MJR

We are two DJs who work together under name DJ2MJR. We are both born in 1963, which makes us one of the first DJs in our region who started playing electronic music. We started back in 1982 as commercial DJ's in well known discotheque in Rijeka, Croatia. Most of the time we performed the 'new style'. By the end of the 1980's we changed more and more to a new chapter in music history: to ELECTRONIC MUSIC, HOUSE and TECHNO. At the begining of the 1990's each of us went it's own way: one choose to try his chances abroad and worked there as DMC member in Italy. The other went to Germany, became a DMC member too, and is also a member of 'Pool Position', 'Top Trax' and 'Dance Net'. By the end of the 1990's we got back together again, and started with joint experiance to work as the DJ2MJR team at regional Radio station on saturdays from 20:30 to 24:00. We cooperated as well with a regional TV station 'Kanal Ri' and promoted remixed new music in order to prepare programe production and studio work. Further we performed as guest DJ's playing REAL TECHNO. Wherever we had guest performances we left an almost UNFORGETTABLE impression and were often invited for several times. Today, one of the DJ2MJR team lives in Germany where he works, and the other is in Croatia where he at the time produce electronic music for a few world-known DJs and work for one radio-station. Also, DJ2MJR team prepares few young DJs in producing electronic music, from which we prefere DJ SQUO and Igor Stracenski, who also sometimes works with us. It is very important to mention that we use newest devices of technology in our work.
