Biography of DJ Mitch
DJ Mitch was born in Rome on 05 november 1969.
In 1986 he started DJing @ the teens club Ponte dei bareteri in Venice, Italy. In 1988 participated in a big event with big Italian DJs for the first time @ the Pape Satan Disco in Dolo, Italy. The party was called 'Acid House - Battle of the DJs ', including great Italian DJs like Christian Hornbostel (Disco palace, Ibiza), Max Artusi (Radio company), Luca Schiavo (Radio company), Tana (resident) and Mitch (Elle et Lui).
In 1988 he was also present at another contest named Trofeo Le Capannine Lido di Jesolo, organised by Discoteca Le Capannine.
In 1990 he also did some shows on Radio Vanessa and Radio Venezia. 1992 was a unique year for Mitch as he perfomed live @ the Park Cafe in Munich, Germany .
From 2000 to 2002 he was DJing in almost all the discos and beach pubs on the lido of Venice as well as at places like Mojito, Pachuka, Beerbante and Acropolis where he had some special events as a DJ with live percussion (Daniele Bonaldo, Leonardo De A. Pope).
2003 was a very busy year as he perfomed in several places: @ La Cascina, Mestre, Venezia, Italy and @ Mamamia, Treviso, (live sax with Aaron Tesser), Smoke @ Jesolo pineta,Venice and Capannina Beach also @ Jesolo Venice.
In 2004 Mitch was present almost everywhere: Thanks to Pub, Mogliano, DISCO LE ROI - Bassano del Grappa (A party called 'SmoKe call Le Roi '), Cafe Blue, Nice Pub @ Venice, and I must remember the nice party organized by the co-operation of Jolly Roger of Jesolo and Cafe Blue, a party on an ancient galleon that goes around the Venice lagoon. Televenezia, a local broadcasting television, made a clip with its staff.
Then there was the Pecaferry Rave Party (a rave party on a ferry boat going around the lagoon of Venice with Marco Mattis (aphrohouse) and DJ NAUTA
( D'N'B .), Dj Joe F, Dj Loco and of course Mitch, this time with a big progressive beat, goa trance and tech house style .
In that same year Mitch became more international using his web site www.djmitch.it as a host place for his unique mixes.
Mitch is currently working on his own audio project and will release an EP as soon as possible.
At the end of 2004 he was present @ Concadoro Venice (a lounge restaurant in Venice) playing chill, ambient, lounge and deep house (lounge philosophy party) at Cafe Blue (visual lounge set from 2003) and SmoKe at Jesolo Pineta,Venezia, Italy.
The year 2005 started with some events like Absolute Elegance and Vintage party @ Concadoro, Venice, Italy and some @ Cafe Blue, Venice, Italy.
Some of my mixes are on regular programs by web radios like Stylenetwork and Fullhouseradio.
