Tricky
In 1978 Finn bought his first single LP (Blondie 'Heart of glass') and has been into vinyl ever since. Informed by underground radio stations, he's always hanging around in record stores and buys tons of disco, new wave, synthpop and electro music.
In the early 80s he got into the 'mod-scene' and discovered Northern Soul and other styles of music. These discoverys lead to his first DJ-Gigs at Soul Allnightern.
In 1986 he listened to house-music for the first time and thought of it as a more dynamic version of disco music. One year later he is a DJ in the Front Club in Hamburg, changing his style to a form of more danceable music.
Since 1995 he changed sites and is often seen as a dancer in front of the DJ´s as a part of the group Tanzdiele.
In spite of everything he finishes his cultural studies (main focus: history of film), literature and studies of culrural history.
2004 he follows his girlfriend to Berlin and works in different areas of culture. He is a cultural journalist (for example, De-Bug) and is an input-moderator for www.discogs.com.
He buys his records at Hard-Wax, Plattenkiste, Soultrade and sometimes he finds something in cheap boxes at the attic.
