Biography of Todd Konix
Born and raised in the east side of Detroit, it is not a surprise that Todd Konix is no stranger to Techno, nor the dance floor. As a DJ, his sets and mixes have satisfied crowds all over the Midwest since he began spinning in 1997. From the big clubs of Chicago, to the dirty warehouses of Detroit, Todd has played them all, including booth appearences at the infamous Detroit Electronic Music Festival.
Todd's style ranges from funky Tech-House, to full out hard baning Techno. He also play Ghettotech, Booty and Electrobass on the side, stying true to his Detroit roots. Lately, Todd has been getting heavy into scratching and turntablism.
And if he's not spinning, then he's on the dancefloor. Todd has been breakdancing since he was 11 and has won several competitions. He still can be seen busting flares and windmills at the clubs.
Todd has now ventured into production, and has already created several tracks. However, college is his top priority now, as to why he does not get to play out as much as he'd like. He's currently is working on his degree in Biochemistry at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI.
