Matt Christensen has spent over a decade emersed in Detroit's electronic music scene. Initially drawn to the power the dj holds over a crowd, Matt C has turned his interest into a lifestyle dedicated to the versitile sounds of House music.
Inspired by a range of musical styles including Hip-Hop, Jazz, and R&B Matt got his start dj'ing parties with Detroit-based Sub-Culture Inc. and Syst3m. Over the years, Matt has played across the tri-state area alongside House heroes such as Derrick Carter, Miles Maeda, Terry Mullan, Justin Long, Mike Huckaby, and many more.
Recently teaming up with Pitchslap Music, Matt's love of House music continues on as he and the rest of the Pitchslap crew strive to be the go-to djs for the latest and greatest in House music.
Establishing himself as a dj with exceptional technical skills, and deep crate that boasts 11 years of selective record collecting, Matt is always a crowd favorite. Currently holding a residency at Centre Street alongside Chuck Daniels of Sampled Music, Matt delivers that chunky, funky, bouncy, House music that keeps the dancefloors hot.

Comment: This mix is recorded in great quality. It is easy house music with jazzy and funky elements. It would be much greater if there was more diversified sound. The first and last track are very similar, so is the rest of mix.
