Biography of DnC Groove
DNC Groove grew up in a small island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea called Sardinia. DNC was exposed to music at a young age, by his father being a jazz songwriter and a keyboard player. This was his first input into the world of music and the main reason behind the musical adventures of DNC Groove. His mother, a freelancer photographer also taught him the arts of the piano being a lover of the arts.
DNC was never without electronic keyboards and pianos at home. Having also travelled with his fathers band “OTIS”, DnC gained valuable experience and attractions for this fantastic world called music. Having the natural talent that he has DnC started to learn how to produce his own beats after he had got his hands on his own piece of recording gear. A few synthesizers and a sampler soon put DnC on the scene and he found himself DJing at a young age in tech house and jazz vibe clubs all over. He still has the passion for Jazz from his influences from his father.
His impressive productions and remixes have all been appearing on West End Records, Elan Records U.S.A., Stargarda Records, Bassmint Music Inc. Co2 Records and many more… His popular radio show called “Club Night” in association with DJ/MC R@ydenn is on Friday’s on the best radio station in Amsterdam.
His last release, BESO feat Jo Jei is signed to Elan Bleu’ Records, which is a new section of Elan Records directed by Ian Carey. Featured a powerful mix by Ian Carey and a smashing a techy follow up from Hardsouls (Dj Roog and Greg)
On that project DnC and the Elan label, fused a calypso beats with an electro bass line and 80’s influenced synths. This amazing release was played by Roger Sanchez on his Release Yourself Radio Show and was supported by artists worldwide, such as Copyright, Danny Marquez (Bubble Soul / Defected), Kiko Navarro (Pacha, Spain), Paul Hughes (Energy FM), Audiowhorez (Soulfuric), Nico De Ceglia (The End/Turnmills/Radio 1/MoS Radio) Dave Clarke (Galaxy FM), Ph Factor, Paul Hughes and Nova 94.6 FM (UK) - Delicious, Michael Black and many more....
