The history has started back in 1994 when Wanderlust met Dubbster. It was the time of the mid-school. Dubbster was in his final 11th grade and Wanderlust in his 9th grade. Dubbster was involved in alternative and punk rock music, while Wanderlust was involved in hard rock and heavy metal. During next 5 years they both continued to work in their preferred genres with different bands, and they also had four projects together.

The history was suddenly changed in 1999 when Wanderlust gave up metal music and completely entered the world of electronic music. Dubbster didn't wait long and followed him. Starting from year 2000 both of those two were digging their own space in the electronic fields of Georgia.

In 2003 they both became residents of the underground club BUNKER which was dedicated to the high quality electronic music. It was the time of craziest underground parties ever, back 2 back & versus sets. After the Bunker`s closure in summer 2004 their cooperation became more evident than ever. They started releasing their mixes, working on new sounds, releasing tracks, touring together, coordinating their own promo team and many more.

In 2005 during their summer tour the idea of breakbeat duo was born. It took about month for them to figure out what each of them want, and what should the duo sound like. The debut performance of bassmasons took place at the 3rd Electronic Dance Music Festival, in Tbilisi, capital of Georgia on 1st of October 2005 and had a great success.

Right now bassmasons are one of the most energetic breakbeat acts in Georgia. Their own working style, their music and technique, as well as their interaction with the crowd makes them unique.
